Winter Shipping Advisory

Please be aware of your local temperatures and how it could affect your fish.  Please inform me if the weather in your area is getting colder and would require a heatpack. (I include them for free) if the weather for your area is below 40 degrees fahrenheit PLEASE ORDER AT A LATER DATE WHEN IT IS WARMER heatpacks cannot work properly when it's too cold for the heatpack to keep the area around it warm.

Shipping Options

We offer USPS Priority Shipping for all orders, but we also offer USPS Ground Shipping for dry goods only orders too. That way if you're just buying fish food, decorations, supplies, etc you have a cheaper shipping option if you would like!

*******Please do not use the Ground Shipping option for orders that contain any living things (such as snails, shrimp, fish, or plants)  if your order contains anything alive and you choose the Ground Shipping option, your order will be canceled, refunded, and charged a refund/restocking fee for 15% of your order subtotal (not including shipping) to cover transaction fees (the 15% fee will be removed from your order refund)

What if I want to cancel my order?

If you need to cancel for any reason just let us know! Your order can be canceled and refunded if you request, but you will charged a refund/restocking fee for 15% of your order subtotal (not including shipping to cover transaction fees (the 15% fee will be removed from your order refund)

Do you offer in person pickup?

Yes! If you are near Nassau County Florida and prefer to pick up your order in person, just send me a message through our contact (at the bottom of this page) for or email me at mg@mgaquatics.com 

WHAT IS YOUR DOA REFUND (dead on arrival) POLICY?

In the unfortunate event that your order arrives dead, we guarantee the loss of the purchased livestock as long as the package is delivered within the timeframe specified by the shipping carrier.  We require you to take a couple clear pictures of the dead livestock in the unopened bag and message me within 30 minutes of your delivery (to avoid claims for orders that were left in the elements for an extended period of time) all DOA orders will be refunded for the cost of the livestock (sorry I can’t refund shipping costs) as long as the DOA guidelines are followed. Opening the bag with a doa fish will void the doa refund guarantee. With good communication and providing photos, we can help resolve any situation to your satisfaction.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY ORDER?

Transit times are dependent on your location. Normally delivery takes 1-4 business days.

HOW DO YOU SHIP FISH?

WE ONLY SHIP ORDERS ON MONDAYS TO AVOID WEEKEND DELAYS

-prior to shipment of livestock we fast them for 24 hours to reduce waste as to not foul the water

-include an ammonia absorber pad in their bag to help reduce chances of foul water

-livestock is backed in special breather bags

-shipping box is styrofoam lined

-the box is filled with non itch cellulose insulation and/or shreaded newspaper to protect your order from hard drops or falls during shipment

-“live fish” and “fragile” stickers on the package to notify shipping company of the delicate contents.

-if a holiday is on a Monday, your order can be shipped on Tuesday (depending on your location)

We can ship to the United States and Canada at this time. We hope to be able to ship to other countries soon.
